Renewing your French Withdrawal Agreement Residency Permit

We tell you the renewal process and the 1 thing you must do now.

The Franco British Network is currently in close contact with the French Ministry of Interior, departmental Prefectures, and the British Embassy and Consulate in France. We have now been informed what UK Nationals need to do to renew their 5 year Withdrawal Agreement Residency Permit (WARP).

This residence permit (called carte de séjour or titre de séjour “acccord de retrait” in French) was issued by the French authorities, in the context of the Withdrawal Agreement, to UK nationals and their family members, living in France before 01/01/2021 for less than 5 years.

This year in 2025, many people with a Withdrawal Agreement Residence Permit (WARP), issued in 2020, will need to renew it.

Our FBNChat, Renewing your French Withdrawal Agreement Residency Permit, will guide you through the renewal process for a 5 year WARP.  FBN Events Manager Tharwat Mansour interviews Sasha Smit-Marcadier.

If you are already a follower of FBN you have already been sent a link to watch this session.
