Review of our recent Social / Networking event

FBN active members and committee personnel had a joyful time on Thursday 23 September during the social event that was organised.

The day started with the visit to the Musée d’art et d’archéologie du Périgord, the oldest in the Dordogne department and consists of 4 large collections.

There was a 45 minutes informative guided tour in the Collection préhistoriques and translated to English by one of FBN members Mrs Brenda Henderson. Lots of archaeological and preserved pieces are available and displayed. It took us to million years back!

Thereafter, we had a tour of the various museum sections. And we had certainly enjoyed the lovely weather when looking at the archaeological remains placed in their open garden.

We made our way to the restaurant at 12;30 where we had a tasty lunch at the Watson’s Pub. Everyone was pleased to meet and network with new and old members.

We all said a cheerful goodbye with a promise to meet again soon at the next event!
