- What are some examples of client situations that you typically handle?
- What do you see as some of the considerations / opportunities for people to reduce their tax burden based upon on their sources of income (such as pensions, salaries, rental incomes, savings, mutual funds, etc.)
- You have mentioned that you often assist clients in making claims towards their tax offices resulting from errors in their annual tax bill; can you share some examples of the mistakes made?
- What advice would you give to someone living in the UK but planning a move to France in terms of in terms of their income and investment, before they arrive permanently to France?
We also ask questions that were submitted by FBN followers
- Will there be tax payable in France on the sale of a property in UK? I am a French resident.
- I am a resident of France (less than 5 years), but I also have a property in the UK which I am renting out. Do I need to declare and pay any taxes on that income in France?
- What are the steps to take to establish that for 1 tax year I will not be tax resident in France (residence in France will be resumed after 1 year, returning from a non-EU non-EUR country)
- How are royalties for a book published in the UK taxed: (i) for a French tax/main resident and (ii) research/writing/engagement with the publication process taking place in the UK and France?
- I have sent the form to HMRC requesting that I be taxed only in France but as always my dealings with them are impossible to get an answer how do I know if they have received it and how can I tell.
