Changes To Savings Accounts

New higher limit for the LEP savings account from 1st October 2023.

From 1st October 2023 the maximum you can invest in a LEP (Livret d’Épargne Populaire / Popular Savings Account) has increased from 7,700 euros to 10,000 euros. This account is aimed at households with modest incomes and the current interest rate is 6%.

Other savings accounts are available which don’t have restrictions on your level of income. These include:

LDDS (Livret de Développement Durable et Solidaire / Sustainable and Inclusive Development Account)
This currently has a limit of 12,000 euros and interest rate of 3%.

LIVRET A (Savings account A)
This currently has a limit of 22,950 euros and interest rate of 3%.
