If you have children who would like to join a sports club or if you are a student under 30 years old and would like to join a gym, read on to see if you are eligible for a young people’s Pass’Sport which gives you a 50 € towards the cost.
The Pass’Sport grant has been extended until 31 December 2024 and is available for each child over 6 years old and up to 30 years old under the following conditions:
- Children aged 6 to 17 whose families receive RSA (Back to School allowance)
- Children aged 6 to 19 whose families receive AEEH ( Education Allowance for Disabled Children)
- Children aged 16 to 30 who are entitled to DAA ( Disabled Adult Allowance)
Students up to the age of 28 may also benefit if they meet the following criteria before 15th October 2024 :
- if they qualify for a grant or scholarship from Crous ( regional centres for universities and schools)
- if they receive annual means-tested aid for health and social training
The Pass’Sport can also be used in conjunction with other regional grants and /or help from the CAF to join a sports association or club.
They should receive their Pass’Sports automatically via the email address they have given to the CAF but if they haven’t received this they can apply here.
Applications can be made from 1st June until 31st December 2024.
The Pass’Sport can be used towards a membership in the sports associations which are partners in the scheme :
- Sports associations which are affiliated to approved sports federations
- Districts classed as “priority” or labelled “educational” whether or not they are affiliated to a sports federation.
- Commercial sports facilities ( eg: fitness room)
