About the Franco British Network

We initially established in 2013 (as the Franco British Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Dordogne), The Franco British Network (FBN) was launched in 2019, formed in France, under ‘Loi 1901’ a not-forprofit organisation, registration W243008681), assisting both individuals and businesses with taking up residence or setting up a business in the Dordogne.

In 2020, The Franco British Network was the only organisation in the Dordogne, and one of only 4 organisations in the whole of France to be appointed by the UK Government, (Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office) to assist UK Nationals applying for French residency Permits, after Brexit.

In 2023, our services were expanded to cover all France, not just the Dordogne.

Also in 2023 Roger Haigh, the President of the Franco British Network was awarded an MBE (Member of the British Empire) by his Majesty, King Charles III, in recognition for all his work carried out for the British community in the Dordogne over the last 25 years.

In September 2024 we expanded to offer our range of services to our followers, free of charge, whilst retaining at the heart of all our services, our determination to provide accurate information.

We are proud of our privileged relationship with British and French authorities who see the FBN as a representative voice of the English-speaking community in France. Additionally, we based upon our extensive experience of living and working in France, are uniquely positioned to assist FBN followers to “get connected”.
